Health and Safety Policy

CSE Global places the highest emphasis on health and safety in the conduct of daily business. The Company is committed to taking all reasonably practicable steps to ensure that all employees are suitably informed and trained for the duties they carry out, supporting a work environment in which all hazards are either eliminated or minimised.

CSE Global will achieve this goal through the constant promotion and improvement of safe working practices, safety consultation, documented safe working procedures, safety awareness, and commitment to safety for each and every CSE Global employee and contractor.

 

The management team will:

  • Maintain a Health & Safety Management System consistent with the requirements of AS/NZS ISO 18001:2007 to ensure compliance with all relevant statutory requirements to eliminate or minimise the risk of injury to all employees and contractors
  • Accept responsibility for the effective implementation of the Health & Safety Management System
  • Observe and implement, as a minimum standard, the Acts, Regulations and other standards that apply to the organisation's scope of work
  • Ensure that safe work practices, procedures, safety training and supervision are in place to encourage a "Zero Harm" culture, focussing on eliminating the possibility of incident or injury
  • Conduct hazard and risk assessments, provide risk controls, and perform policy and procedural review, to meet the relevant needs of each area of work activity
  • Develop and foster a consultative safety culture for all workplaces, in which all employees are encouraged to offer suggestions to improve workplace safety
  • Encourage all employees to be their own safety supervisor and provide feedback on their work locations or activities
  • Provide rehabilitation as a means to promote wellbeing and maintain the self-esteem of the individual, whilst returning any injured person to meaningful work as soon as is practicable after any incident

Employees Will:

  • Ensure they take all reasonable steps to protect their own health, safety and work environment, and that of others who may be affected by their actions
  • Stop work if they encounter practices or conditions that pose an imminent danger to themselves or others
  • Comply with all agreed Health and Safety procedure
  • Use all protective equipment in the manner that they have been instructed, and not wilfully interfere or misuse items or facilities
  • Report all Health and Safety incidents/accidents as well as potential hazards in accordance with the agreed procedures

 

Environment Policy

At CSE Global we recognise that we owe a duty of care to the natural environment and the communities in which we operate.
We therefore support the philosophy of "Cleaner Operations" and will take all reasonable steps to ensure all business activities are planned and conducted to minimise and, where possible, avoid adverse effects on the natural environment and social surroundings for the benefit of current and future generations.

Our commitment is to develop and maintain a healthy and environmentally safe workplace through regular consultative processes with our employees, suppliers, clients and government authorities.

 

The management team will:

  • Maintain an Environmental Management System consistent with the requirements of AS/NZS ISO 14001:2004 to ensure compliance with all relevant statutory requirements at all CSE Global locations and worksites to eliminate or minimise any adverse environmental aspects
  • Accept responsibility for the effective implementation of the Environmental Management System
  • Observe and implement, as a minimum standard, the Acts, Regulations and other standards that apply to the organisation's scope of work
  • Adopt and enforce policies that encourage "Cleaner Operations" and integrate this philosophy into business planning and day-to-day operations
  • Conduct and participate in environmental impact assessments, implement environmental management programs and action plans, and monitor such programs and plans
  • Promote a positive culture by providing environmental training and awareness programs to our employees, and encourage individual involvement with environmental issues
  • Involve stakeholders in annual environmental policy reviews and feedback integration
  • Develop methods to conserve resources by reducing, reusing and recycling wastes
  • Demonstrate due diligence in the provision of its services, manage its work activities in a manner that is consistent with the principles of ecologically sustainable development

Employees will:

  • Take a proactive approach to communicating environmentally friendly ideas to superiors and management
  • Comply with CSE Global Environmental Policy at all times
  • Report all non-compliance with environmental policy to superiors and management
